Up to 2007, we collected a miscellaneous ?other Gram-negative bacteria? group, which yielded Serratia, Citrobacter and Acinetobacter amongst many other even less common organisms. Mostly, they were too few for meaningful analysis. From 2008, the protocol was changed to collect only Serratia in this group. | |

Tigecycline is somewhat oxygen-labile, but this was not fully understood in 2002 when it was quite a new developmental agent. Its laboratory handling requirements were better understood from 2003 onwards, and the MICs obtained since then are more reliable. | |
