BSAC is seeking to recruit new members for the Resistance Surveillance Programme Standing Committee.
The BSAC Resistance Surveillance Programme is a widely respected project that provides long-term surveillance of antibiotic resistance in the UK and Ireland. Committee members are required to attend one in-person meeting per quarter at the BSAC offices in Birmingham. Time to review associated documents, contribute to outputs, including manuscripts and poster preparation, and participate in email discussions, teleconferences etc. is also required (estimated 7.5-15 hours in total).
The likely candidate should be involved in antimicrobial resistance and/or surveillance practice in a direct or indirect capacity, such as in a pharmacy, technical, clinical or academic post.
We invite expressions of interest from candidates who have at least 3-5 years of experience in data analysis/interpretation, presentation of data (oral and by publication) and are able to attend the Committee meetings on a regular basis (2/4 meetings per year minimum).
Please email the Programme Co-ordinator (Dr Carolyne Horner, firstname.lastname@example.org), if you would like more information, or would like to be considered for the role.
We look forward to hearing from you!
